Your guide on this journey…

Heather Last is a Trauma-Informed Somatic Embodiment Coach, Yoga and Movement Teacher. She has been a lifelong lover of nature, movement, art and poetry and has felt closest to Spirit in the depths of her body. This interest led her to find Yoga & Ayurveda in her teens and a degree in Exercise Science. Heather has now worked in the health & wellness industry for over 20 years with multiple fitness trainings and certifications under her belt.

She did her first teacher yoga training with Tammy Zee while attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1999. She has since trained with Manju Jois, Simon Park, Tiffany Cruikshank and countless other teachers around the globe.

In 2019 she completed Movement for Trauma Level 1 Training with Jane Clapp and became a Certified VITA™ (vital and integrated Tantric approach) Sex, Love & Relationship Coach through the VITA™ Institute, founded by Layla Martin. In 2021, she completed the ReBloom Foundations Course with Trauma Resolution Educator, Coach and Guide Rachael Maddox.

Most recently she completed the 60-hour Integrative Somatic Trauma Certificate Program as well as an Integrative Somatic Parts Work Certificate through The Embody Lab.

Heather's offerings as a teacher + coach consist of marrying the expression of the body with the expression of the soul. Finding inner and outer alignment. Opening and strengthening the body with intelligent sequencing and unique movement patterns. Guiding people into the the depths of their own bodies and reflecting the wisdom that lies within. Aligning mind・body・soul with the natural rhythms and cycles within us and around us to find balance in our daily lives and reconnect us with our essential nature.

Heather approaches working with clients and students through a trauma-informed lens and the belief that we are already whole. We are not broken. We do not need fixing. We simply need to reclaim the lost pieces of ourselves and honor the wisdom within.
